guara.me Names
Besides its default subdomain, every service can claim a name of your choice under guara.me, such as myapp.guara.me. The name is live as soon as you save it: there is no DNS to configure, and HTTPS is included.
The default subdomain keeps working alongside it, so existing links never break.
Claiming a name
On the service page, open the Domains tab, type the name in the guara.me address field, and click Use this name. The name appears in the domain list as active right away.
Every plan, including the free trial, can claim one guara.me name per service. To use a different name, remove the current one and claim a new one.
Naming rules
- 3 to 63 characters
- Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
- Cannot start or end with a hyphen, and cannot contain
-- - Names are first come, first served: each one can belong to only one service
To protect users from impersonation, some names are not available:
- Platform names such as
api,app,admin,www,status, orlogin - Names containing well-known brands, banks, or payment services, such as
guara,paypal, ornubank - Names with words commonly used in phishing, such as
login,conta,pix, orgov, as a separate word (for examplegov-login)
