Build Minutes
Every time Guara Cloud builds a container image from your code, the build time is counted as build minutes. Your account has a monthly quota of minutes that is shared across all projects and services.
How minutes are tracked
Build minutes are tracked as follows:
- Time is measured from the start of the build to completion (or failure)
- Minutes are pooled across all projects and services in your account
- Failed builds also consume minutes
- Rollbacks do not consume build minutes, as they do not run a new build
Tier quotas
Each Guara Cloud plan includes a monthly build minutes quota:
| Plan | Minutes per month |
|---|---|
| Hobby | 100 minutes |
| Pro | 500 minutes |
| Business | 2,000 minutes |
| Enterprise | 10,000 minutes |
What happens when minutes are exhausted
When you reach your plan’s build minutes limit:
- New builds are rejected with a clear message informing that the quota has been reached
- Services already running continue to work normally
- Rollbacks remain available, as they do not consume minutes
- Configuration changes (environment variables, resources) continue to work, as they do not require a build
Quota renewal
The minutes quota is automatically renewed on each billing cycle. The renewal date corresponds to your subscription anniversary.
For example, if you subscribed to the Pro plan on the 15th, your minutes are renewed on the 15th of every month.
Checking remaining minutes
To check how many build minutes you have left:
- Go to the Guara Cloud dashboard
- Navigate to Account Settings or Billing
- View the Build Minutes indicator showing your current usage and total quota
